Here's a journey down memory lane - my first real adventures in the world of storytelling and filmmaking, all of which date from the early 1990s. Enjoy...
THE ALCHEMIST
In 1990, at the tender age of 16, myself and my friend Tristan Barratt were let loose with a VHS camcorder and some basic editing equipment – and the end result was this shambolic but energetic

THE NEW AIRWOLF:
THE NEXT GENERATION
Partly because I owed him for helping me with The Alchemist, and partly because it simply sounded like far too much fun to miss out on, I ended up playing a major role in Tristan's crazed (and semi-improvised) fan-film spoof of the Eighties super-helicopter series Airwolf, presented here in three parts. Prepare for surreal gags, many explosions and some truly epic overacting...

The end result didn’t quite work, but was very well edited and more fun than I expected:
UnExtreme – “Get The Funk Out”
However, the idea hadn’t worked so I went back to the drawing board and instead decided on a reversal – taking a typical rock video style, and putting it to an ‘unsuitable’ track…
Psychic Metal Terror – “When You Come Back To Me”
For Tristan, on the other hand, the project was a chance to indulge in his eccentric habit of dressing up as the Bee Gees, in this spoof/homage to the ferociously over-produced Bee Gees video “When He’s Gone”. For this production, I did the majority of the camerawork, and also made a few cameo appearances…
