Many things have been said about Saxon Bullock. 29% of them are 40% true. 42% of them are 88% true. 10% of them are 5% true. And as for the rest of them, it’s best not to ask…

What is known for certain is that Saxon Bullock has been working as a freelance writer since 2000, and he has written for a variety of magazines and websites. He has just completed his first novel - a science fiction adventure entitled THE HYPERNOVA GAMBIT - and is trying to develop a suitably gothic and interesting hairstyle. Only time will tell if either of these will be a success.

He was born in Cornwall in 1974, and soon developed a passionate love of Science Fiction and Cinema thanks to his eclectic and cinema-loving parents. Deciding at the age of 12 that he wanted to be a film director, Saxon experimented with filmmaking throughout his teens, and managed to hi-jack an entire segment of his Media Studies A-Level just so he could produce a 1-hour, no-budget sci-fi adventure spectacular entitled THE ALCHEMIST.

Further filmmaking adventures followed, and after A-Levels came three years at Bournemouth University studying for a Ba Hons in Media Production. Saxon's first official experience of journalism was here on the Documentary side of the course, researching and producing his own documentaries on a local Cinema projectionist, anarchic pop renegades The KLF, and the many facets of the Comic Book industry.

After completing his course with two short films- the superhero monologue RETURN OF THE CRIMSON AVENGER and the surreal existential drama SUICIDE IS PAINLESS, Saxon moved to London in late 1995 with the intent of pursuing a career in the Media. During 1997 and 1998, he managed to gain interest from several production companies in a drama series he had developed entitled SANITY CLAWS, and during the year 2000, he made the move into Film Journalism, starting to write for Hotdog magazine, and continuing to work for outlets like Channel4.Com and SFX magazine.

In June 2002, he travelled across America visiting movie locations in preperation for a forthcoming project, and in October 2004 he married Georgina Phillips.

He left London in late 2006 and currently lives in Hampshire, where he is working on his next novel.
